DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers offer more than just cosmetic enhancement; they provide a rejuvenating boost that positively impacts your overall confidence and self-image! By addressing common concerns such as lost volume, fine lines, and wrinkles, fillers help restore vitality to your appearance. The hyaluronic acid in fillers not only replenishes hydration but also stimulates collagen production, further improving skin texture and elasticity over time. This results in a natural-looking plumpness and radiance that enhances your features leaving your feeling Refreshed!

The non-invasive nature of dermal fillers ensures noticeable improvements with minimal discomfort and downtime. Unlike surgical procedures, fillers allow for a refreshed appearance without the risks and extended recovery periods associated with invasive treatments.

Our skilled team of medical professionals understands that each individual has unique needs and facial dynamics, which is why we take pride in the versatility of our filler treatments to suit your specific goals. Whether you desire subtle refinement or more dramatic enhancement, we work closely with you while utilizing our artistic eye to achieve the results you envision. At Refreshed MD, we prioritize your comfort and satisfaction, providing comprehensive consultations and personalized care every step of the way.

Most commonly treated areas —

  • Lips (for your subtle hydration, to reshaping, & volume building!)

Filler Dissolver

While dermal fillers can produce stunning results, occasionally adjustments may be needed. Injecting fillers requires a delicate balance of artistry and science, as each person's anatomy and tissue respond differently to treatment. Despite our best efforts to address potential issues through careful placement and technique, there are factors beyond our control that may require minor adjustments. Common reasons for filler dissolution include product migration, the formation of lumps or bumps, or simply a desire to reduce filler volume. If needed or requested, we offer a gentle solution using hyaluronidase, an enzyme that safely breaks down hyaluronic acid fillers. This process is quick and typically involves minimal downtime. Offer mini or full dissolving for a fresh start. We are on your team and here to help achieve your most desired &  clean look!

Dermal Filler FAQ

  • Sometimes fillers can sometimes cause mild discomfort. Or as we like to say, it can feel “spicy.” We have a variety of methods to keep you comfortable during your appointment. We can provide you with topical triple anesthetic cream t, dental nerve blocks, as well as distraction tools to help your mind redirect its focus.

  • Like any procedure, dermal fillers carry risks. These may include bleeding, bruising, swelling, and discomfort. Our experienced injectors take every precaution to minimize these risks and ensure your safety and comfort.

  • It can depend on the area being treated and the product being used. You will likely see some volume gain directly after treatment. And, it may take up to two weeks for bruising and swelling to subside fully and for the product to settle. We recommend reserving judgment on your results for at least three weeks as fillers need time to work their magic. In other words, patience is key!

  • Safety is paramount. We advise pregnant or breastfeeding individuals to refrain from getting injectable treatments due to limited studies on their effects. If you have a history of medical concerns or severe allergies, consult our medical providers to determine if dermal fillers are suitable for you.

  • FDA-approved for individuals 21 years and older, dermal fillers offer a versatile solution for many. However, exceptions exist for younger individuals. Reach out to us for a consultation to determine candidacy and discuss your unique needs.

  • We understand the choice can be overwhelming with so many options out there! That is why a consultation with one of our experienced injectors is important. We take time to learn about your concerns, treatment history, and goals so we can then best match you with the product and treatment plan. Injectable consultations require a $50 holding fee, which can be used towards the total cost of your injectable service.
