COLLAGEN STIMULATORS
Collagen is the primary building block in our skin and the most abundant protein in our body. Think of the soft, plump petals of a blossoming flower — they owe their beauty to the same kind of support collagen gives our skin! This wonderful protein provides our skin with structure, strength, and elasticity.
Collagen production peaks between ages 20-25, and then gradually decreases by 1-1.5% per year, with existing collagen breaking down more quickly. By age 60, you may have lost about 80% of your natural collagen. The gentle hollowing around the eyes and face, the softening of the cheeks, and the appearance of deeper lines and wrinkles are all signs of this natural collagen loss.
Collagen stimulators address the natural decline in collagen production, helping to preserve a youthful appearance by rebuilding skin structure and volume with natural results. These injectables are introduced into the deeper skin layers, prompting the body to produce more collagen.
Collagen Stimulators VS Dermal Fillers
While both injectables are eventually absorbed and metabolized by the body, Collagen Stimulators and Dermal Fillers offer distinct benefits. Collagen Stimulators uniquely encourage your body to produce its own collagen, fostering natural and long-lasting support, whereas Dermal Fillers provide immediate volume without stimulating collagen production.
Imagine the difference between planting a tree and placing a potted plant. Dermal Fillers are like placing a potted plant, offering instant beauty with less permanence. Collagen Stimulators, on the other hand, are like planting a tree, promoting growth and lasting benefits over time.

Take it easy at the gym post-injection. Avoid strenuous activity for a minimum of 24 hours.
Skip massages or microdermabrasion on injection day.
Recommended to avoid alcohol, caffeine, spicy foods and salt to keep swelling at bay for at least 48 hours post-injection.
Avoid extensive sun exposure (even with SPF) and heat for the first 72 hours.
Be cautious of airplane travel for a minimum of the first 72 hours, as cabin pressure can sometimes worsen side effects. We encourage you to wait at least one week post filler or stimulator for air travel.
While bruising is not ideal; it will not impact your end results. You can take Arnica Montana tablets and use topical Arnica cream/gel to heal bruising or swelling, or incorporate Alastin Injection Serum into your skincare routine to speed up healing.
For discomfort; Tylenol or acetaminophen are okay to take. A gentle cool compress (not ice) for 15 minutes each hour is also an option to reduce swelling or discomfort.
